The faculty need people to help out with the preclin OSCEs next week on Tuesday (8th) and Thursday (10th). There are morning and afternoon sessions available. Food will be provided on the day.
Expressions of interest can be sent to   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 6pm Thursday (3rd). Please indicate if you prefer morning or afternoon. More info will then be provided. They need 70 patients across the day so plenty of room! The role is not complex and you will be trained and have time to practice.
We all benefited from the formative OSCEs when we were pre-clins and due to the cost of running them they are now dependent on student helpers to continue. Please give a bit of your time to ensure the younger students can have the experience too.
There is a generic SP training session (ie not specific to this round of OSCEs) on Monday (7th) from 4-6pm with pizza and you are welcome to attend even if you can't help on Tues/Thurs. The faculty is looking to involve older students more in assessment so the more the merrier! Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you're coming so that there is enough pizza to go around. (if you can't make Monday but want to help email anyway!)
